Acadia National Park, Maine established in 1916 is located on Maine's northeastern rocky coastline of Mount Desert Island. The Park includes woodlands, marshes, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks. Cadillac Mountain is the highest point on the United States’ East Coast.
